Heat Rash- Symptom, Causes, Treatment of Heat Rash
Heat Rash is an
intense
skin eruption which can
appear
in hot, humid weather. Heat rash (also known as prickly heat)
produce
when the lining of the duct
resulting
from a sweat gland to the
rise
of the skin becomes swollen and blocks the outflow of sweat. The
ensnare
sweat
is forced into the surrounding skin, where it induce soreness, a prickling sensation and
frequently
severe itching. The rash tends to
appear
where skin is fine and
mostly
covered by clothing, and frequently
seems
as clusters of small red lumps with a tiny central blister.
Medical care is by cooling and drying the skin. Corticosteroid lotions
improve
to decrease soreness and
exempt
the itch. Prevention is by employing fans, air conditioning and light cotton clothing to
preserve
the skin cool and dry.
