Heat Exhaustion- Symptom, Causes, Treatment of Heat Exhaustion
Heat Exhaustion is the collapse of the circulation
ascribable
to

fluid loss frum sweating caused by strenuous activity at high temperatures. Heat exhaustion is most

to affect people who do heavy work in a hot environment ( miners, steelworkers). or athletes who emulate at high temperatures to which they are not acclimatised.
Symptoms of Heat Exhaustion
Primitive symptoms include

laligue, weakness, anxiety and drenching sweats.
Virtually
athletes have been warned of the symptoms and
suggested
to
quit
training or competing at the first
signs of heat exhaustion, but the pressure of competition can
produce
people push themselves beyond safety limits. If activity
proceed, blood pressure cannot be
kept and the
ensue
are cold, pale, clammy skin; a weak, slow pulse; loss of muscle coordination; mental disorientation, and potential conapse.
Treament of Heat Exhaustion
If somebody collapses from heat exhaustion,
search
extremity
medical care.

the patient flat or with head down
in a
chill
place.
Take away
clothing and sponge with coo lwater.
Impart
little
amounts of slightly salty fluids (1/2 teaspoon of salt per litre)
each
few minutes. If the patient has not
