Frostbite - Symptom, Causes, Treatment of Frostbite
Frostbite is the damage to tissues,
especially
those of the ears, nose, toes and fingers, following prolonged openness to
intense
cold. The tissue injury is induced by formation of ice crystals in and in the middle of cells,
stimulating
the cells to rupture and die. Blood flow to the
pretend
part stops, and clotting may
appear
in small vessels. Frostbitten parts are cold, ham, white and numb.
GANGRENE can
ensue
extend
frost bite. Treatment include slow warming.
